Tennis Training in Turkey with International Tennis Academy

Lykia World's International Tennis Academy is a professional tennis school in Turkey, offering tennis training for tennis players of all levels.
Run by Head Coach Juergen Strenger (GER), the ITA is a contractor of Lykia World and works for Lykia World exclusively.

All the coaches employed by ITA have coaches licenses and a very good playing level. They all speak a minimum of 2 languages, including english.

ITA's owner and Head Coach Mr. Juergen Strenger from Germany has years of international experience, both as a coach and tournament player. He holds a state diploma for tennis coaching, various coaching licenses by the German Tennis Federation DTB and was ranked nr. 67 in the ITF vets world ranking in 2004. Mr. Strenger is responsible for Tennis in Lykia World since the 2004 season.

ITA permanently strives to offer the best possible services to all our tennis guests:

• State-of-the-art tennis teaching and training methods - our own ERGOTennis method, developed by Mr. Strenger, bases on biomechanics and teaches natural, efficient movements as used by today's top players. These techniques are not only efficient, but also easy to learn.
• Take individual lessons , or join one of the training groups (maximum 4 players of equal playing level in one group).
• Practise your strokes with our coaches in a highly efficient manner with our electronic ball machines as a part of our group lessons program.
• In our training programs, the choice is always yours to make: if you decide to change and update your techniques, our coaches will help you with that. If you do not want to change the techniques that you have grown accustomed to, they will help you how to practise specific match situations and improve your playing level through practice and drills. Of course, we also show you how to be a better player by making the right decisions on the court, thus making better use of your existing strokes and techniques.
• ITA has an excellent children program. In groups not bigger than 4 children, your kids will learn tennis in a playful way with special lightweight rackets, low-energy balls and special kid's nets. Learning by doing is the best way to get started, and you should expect your kids wanting to play more tennis when you return home!
• ITA's customers can use Babolat Rackets of excellent quality during their lessons (unless they have their own equipment). Babolat rackets are also for sale at the shop, along with all the tennis equipment you may need, and we can also restring your racket on our electronic stringing machine.

Even if you do not want to take any lessons, you don't have to bring your own racket along : for a fee of 4,- € per session, you can rent a Babolat racket from us. And did we mention that the use of the tennis courts in Lykia World is free of charge ? Yes, that's right - tennis balls are for rent free-of-charge as well, and only for reservatiosn from at home there is a small flat fee.

• ITA offers a free try-out lesson every Tuesday 17.00 h for adults and juniors over 12 years. No sign-in necessary, rackets are provided by us.
• Try-out lesson for kids from 5-11 years on every Wednesday 10.15 h costs 5,- € per child (to be paid in cash at the tennis center).
